The Forgotten Champions

Join us to watch a PBS television documentary,Playing for the World, about ten remarkable American Indian girls living in an Indian boarding school who would go on to win the 1904 women's basketball World Championship playing at the 1904 World’s Fair. It’s based on the book Full-Court Quest authored by 1904 World’s Fair Society members Linda Peavy and Ursula Smith.

Also featured will be the annual Treasurer's report for 2010 will be given by Treasurer Marv Sher in a powerpoint presentation.
