1. The Society is now on Facebook. Click on this link an get to our page. Became a fan and encourage your friends to become fans of the 1904 World's Fair Society. Please feel free to share your thoughts about the Fair and the WFS with us and all our fans.

2. Officers and Directors for 2010 are Mike Truax (President), Max Storm (Vice President), Cathy Wipperman (Secretary), Marv Sher (Treasurer), Linda King (Director of Exhibits), Jan Green (Director of Exploitation), Mark Osborn (Director of Concessions and Admissions), and Julie Nicolai (Director of Works). Julie is also Program Director responsible for our monthly and special programs. Pictured below at the Closing Day Celebration are the 2010 Officers and Directors.

3. The dates and programs for the first six months of 2010 have been announced. They are as follows:

       January  -  Wednesday January 13th

       February - Wednesday February 10th

       March - Wednesday March 10th

       April - Friday April 30th

       May - Thursday May 20th

       June - Saturday June 12th.

4. Photos from meeting back to October 2007 are now included in the "Meeting Photos" section of the website.

 

5. You can now download your favorite picture from the "Meeting Photos" section of the website. All you have to do is go to the meeting you are interested in; click on the thumbnail picture to obtain the "larger picture" and then scroll down to the bottom of the "larger picture" and click on "download".  The picture will then be saved on your computer.

 
 
6. Planning has started on the 1904 World's Fair Education Kit. This kit will provide resources for educators to teach about our Fair.  Your help is needed.
